    A total of 271 patients were included in the study. AL was observed in 12.5% (34/271). Increase in CRP-level of 50mg/l between POD 1-2had a negative predictive value of 0.92, specificity of 0.71 and sensitivity of 0.57. Changes in CRP-levels between POD 2-3 were associated with a negative predictive value, specificity and sensitivity of 0.89, 0.93 and 0.26, respectively. Changes in CRP-levels between POD 1-3showed a negative predictive value of 0.94, specificity of 0.76 and sensitivity of 0.65. In addition, 50mg/l changes between any two days showed a negative predictive value of 0.92, specificity of 0.66 and sensitivity of 0.62. The area under the ROC curve for all CRP-trajectory measurements ranged from 0.593-0.700.

    Surgical treatment of splenic flexure cancer (SFC) still presents some debated issues, including the role of laparoscopic surgery. The literature is based on small single-centre series, while randomized controlled studies comparing open and laparoscopic treatment for colon cancer exclude SFC. This study aimed to determine the role of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of SFC, comparing short- and long-term outcomes with open surgery.

    This was an international multicentre retrospective cohort study that analysed patients from 10 tertiary referral centres. From a cohort of 641 cases, 484 patients with Stage I-III SFC submitted to elective surgery with curative intent were selected. After 11 propensity score matching, 130 patients in the laparoscopic group (LapGroup) were compared with 130 patients in the open surgery group (OpenGroup).

    After propensity score matching, the two groups were comparable for demographic and clinical parameters. OpenGroup presented a higher incidence of overall (P=0.02) and surgery-related complications (P=0.05) but a similar rate of severe complications (P=0.75). We characterized the microenvironment of DLBCL by immunohistochemistry in a training set of 132 cases, which included 10 EBER-positive and 5 high-grade B-cell lymphomas (HGBCL), with gene expression profiling in a representative subset of 37 cases. DLBCL had a differential infiltration of TAMs. The high infiltration of CD68 (pan-macrophages), CD16 (M1-like), CD163, PTX3, and IL10-positive macrophages (M2c-like) and low infiltration of FOXP3-positive Tregs correlated with poor survival. Non-GCB DLBCL was associated high CD16, CD163, PTX3, and IL10, and EBER-positive DLBCL with high CD163 and PTX3. PD-L1 positively correlated with CD16, CD163, IL-10, and RGS1. In a multivariate analysis of overall survival, PTX3 and IPI were identified as the most relevant variables.     A search for menstrual cycle mHealth apps from the Google Play Store and AppStore in Brazil was performed by two independent reviewers on October 2020, and the quality of eligible mHealth apps was assessed using the Mobile App Rating Scale (MARS).

    Our review identified 2400 potentially relevant mHealth apps, of which 56 were eligible for inclusion. The majority of the apps offered tools to track menstruation symptoms (63%) and educational content for users (32%). The mean ( ±SD) MARS app quality score for the 28 evaluated apps in Android was 3.5 ± 0.6 on a 0-5 scale. For the 28 evaluated apps in iOS, the mean app quality score was 3.8 ± 0.4. Most of the included apps, for both systems, scored average for credibility, user interface, and engagement.

Dietary TB or PSE alone supplementation improved the ratio of villus height to crypt depth (VH/CD) and the expression level of Occludin in ileum.
